Our sister site British Women Artists is having a competition. The prize is £300 and each item of artwork costs £5 to enter.
What You Need To Do
1. Be a member of the website. Join here
2. Upload one or more photos of your artwork in JPEG format. Try to keep width 1024 pixel or less
3. Select an artwork previously uploaded onto this site of any medium and your close ups will be included
4. Pay £5 per artwork (by PayPal or Credit Card) which will go toward the prize money of £300 and the organisation of an exhibition for the future
5. Write a short description about your work, the materials that you used and why you did it in 300 words or less. Also include a bit about yourself.

Tony Pontone Managing Director Of Albemarle Gallery Located in London's West End, Mayfair, the Albemarle is considered to be one of the best small galleries in London. It has a tradition of supporting controversial artists from a diverse range of backgrounds and styles.
Edward Lucy Smith British writer, poet, art critic, curator, broadcaster and author of numerous books including Sexuality in Western Art, Symbolist Art, Movements in Art Since 1945 and numerous others.
Amanda Rigler Curator of The New Hall Collection, this unusual collection contains nearly 350 contemporary works by distinguished women including Maggi Hambling, Barbara Hepworth and Paula Rego.
