The Monthly Transition Town Meeting including a slot from two of the Group on their attendance at the National Transition Town training event. Open to all.
The Transition Town Faversham group is a group of like-minded individuals who want to look at how we can understand the coming challenges of climate change and peak oil and decide how we can adapt to them, allowing the area to continue to thrive.
So far, our activities include:
- Monthly Meetings at The Phoenix Tavern
- A film/awareness group, which has shown several films and held lively discussions.
- A plastic-bag-free group which has been very well received by local businesses.
- A community allotment at Brogdale.
- Plant swaps and seed swaps.
- Seasonal Suppers.
There are many areas still to cover and we are planning more activities in the future. The magic missing ingredient is - you!
